Warehouse Field Distribution Associate

Paladin Consulting is currently hiring a Field Distribution Associate to join our team working onsite at our client's office located in Nashville, TN.

Job Title: Field Distribution Associate
Work Location: Nashville, TN
Duration: 6 month contract with option to extend
Hours: Monday-Friday 9am-5:30pm
Education/Experience Required: High school or equivalent

Job Description & Responsibilities :

• This role will mostly consist of boxes coming to a series of desks that are equipped with shipping software and the worker processing those boxes one at a time.
• The worker will fill the boxes with a paper substance that keeps the parts from moving around too much, they will then print the label, seal the box and put it down a slide onto a conveyer belt that takes the box to a truck.
• This person will be mostly assisting with packing/loading the trucks, however, there may be some picking of orders from the warehouse floor.

Skills & Qualifications :

• The hiring manager would really like to emphasize the importance of good communication skills in any candidates submitted.
• This role does not require the use of any large equipment. Just a hand cart at times.
• Driving: No
• These candidates must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and be on their feet all day.
• They will be moving boxes all day and get a paid break ever 2 hours. After 4 hours they will get an unpaid lunch break. The manager is looking for someone who has strong English speaking/reading skills.
• This person should be able to be fast and accurate working with their hands.
• Any kind of picking/packing experience is helpful, but not necessary. Warehouse experience is a plus.
• Dress Code: Khaki pants or shorts, Jeans, comfortable and closed toe shoes. No gym shorts, no yoga pants, no skin-tight clothing, no dangling/hanging clothing.
