Windows Systems Administrator
Location: Orange, CT (Onsite)
Duration: 6+ Month Contract
About the Role
We are seeking a highly technical Senior Systems Administrator to support and enhance a complex hybrid IT infrastructure environment. This role is focused on maintaining system stability, security, performance, and operational efficiency across a Windows environment while driving infrastructure improvements and automation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and support Windows and Linux server environments
• Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, PowerShell scripting, and security policies
• Support physical and virtual infrastructure including Hyper-V and virtualization technologies
• Analyze and remediate infrastructure, systems, and IT security issues
• Perform root cause analysis, troubleshooting, and system optimization
• Collaborate with IT teams to improve operational processes and infrastructure reliability
• Support enterprise applications and ERP environments
• Implement automation and scripting solutions to improve efficiency
• Maintain system confidentiality, integrity, and availability following IT best practices

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of Systems Administration experience in enterprise environments
• Strong Windows Administration experience including:
  • Active Directory
  • Group Policy
  • PowerShell scripting
  • Security administration
• Experience administering Linux systems (RHEL, Ubuntu, CentOS, etc.)
• Experience with virtualization technologies such as Hyper-V or VMware
• Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills
• Experience supporting hybrid infrastructure environments
• Excellent communication and documentation skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Azure Intune experience
• IT Security or infrastructure certifications
• Experience with ERP systems and enterprise applications
• Experience improving infrastructure standards, automation, and operational processes
