Job Title: Mobile App Tester
Work Location: Remote
Duration: 6 month contract
Education/Experience Required: 2+ years of experience in mobile app QA, support analysis, or a related role
Job Description & Responsibilities :
- Perform testing on iOS, Android, and web version of the application - Execute test cases, maintain test plans, and contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes
- Create and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts
- Document issues with clear reproduction steps, screenshots, logs, and severity ratings. Maintain accurate documentation of test results and known issues
- Support users in the field who experience issues with the app as front-line support and troubleshooting. Communicate resolutions, workarounds, and timelines to stakeholders with clarity
- Create userfriendly guides, FAQs, and internal knowledge base articles
- Work closely with the team to communicate issue trends or suggest improvements
- Participate in release planning, UAT cycles, and postrelease validation
- Monitor app analytics, crash reports, and performance metrics (e.g., Firebase, App Store / Play Store console)
Desired Skills/interests
- 2+ years of experience in mobile app QA, support analysis, or a related role
- Handson experience testing iOS and/or Android applications, as well as web applications
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Familiarity with tools such as Jira, GitHub Actions, Firebase Crashlytics, or similar.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to translate technical issues into clear, actionable information for nontechnical stakeholders
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Experience with Swagger, Postman, or similar API testing tools.
- Experience with beta/preview testing programs (TestFlight, Google Play Internal Testing).
- Background in customer support or field support environments.
