ICT Service Delivery Technician (Dallas, TX)

Paladin Consulting is currently hiring an ICT Service Delivery Technician to join our team working onsite at our client's office located in Dallas, TX.

Job Title: ICT Service Delivery Technician
Work Location: Dallas, TX
Duration: Long-term contract with option to hire

Hours:

• M-F 8am - 5pm with some expected overtime
• 1 week per month of on-call
• 2 hours paid on Sat and Sun
• If called in, paid for hours worked

Job Description & Responsibilities :

• Candidate will be working in a Data Center
• This role involves a lot of walking
• Candidate will need to be able to lift at least 30 lbs
• Racking and stacking hardware
• Running cables
• Check for service tickets
• Pulling servers
• Powering servers
• Adding Memory to a server

Team Overview:

• This is a team environment but will be expected to also work independently.
• They will report to an on-site supervisor

Must Have Skills:

• At least 1 year experience
• H.S. diploma or GED
• Must be reliable
• Replacing hardware in a server (PC)
• This is highly focused on the "hands and feet " work with the servers
• Running cables

Nice to have skills:

• Data Center certifications
• Specific Data Center experience
• Ability to work well with others
• Can take directions

Soft Skills:

• Client facing role, so high level of professionalism and good customer service

Software skills:

• Excel experience is a plus
• Microsoft Office suite
• ServiceNow is a plus
