Building Engineer (Conroe, TX)

Paladin Consulting is currently hiring a Building Engineer to join our team working onsite at our client's office located in Conroe, TX.

Job Title: Building Engineer
Work Location: Conroe, TX
Duration: Long-term contract with option to hire
Hours: Monday-Friday 7am - 3:30pm, OT as needed. On call for emergencies only
Education/Experience Required: High school or equivalent

Job Description:

• This is a very physically grueling job, candidate must be comfortable walking up and down stairs all day long
• This is full industrial site
• Full safety gear is required and provided
• Steel toe boots
• Safety glasses
• Hearing protection
• Cut resistant gloves
• Team Overview:
  • Working independently

Responsibilities :

• This is a work order guided position
• Responsible for building and grounds
• Painting
• Mechanical work
• Basic plumbing
• Basic electrical

Skills & Qualifications :

• Open to all experience levels
• HS diploma or GED, trade school preferred, not required
• Software skills:
  • Basic computer skills
  • Basic tablet skills
  • Email/communication skills

Must Have Skills:

• Mechanical aptitude
• Basic electrical skills
• Basic plumbing skills
• Great customer service skills
• Must be comfortable going up on the roof

Nice to have skills:

• Forklift experience
• HVAC experience
• Dock door experience
• Leveler experience
