Building Engineer (Knoxville, TN)

Paladin Consulting is currently hiring a Building Engineer to join our team working onsite at our client's office located in Knoxville, TN.

Job Title: Building Engineer
Work Location: Knoxville, TN
Duration: 4 month contract
Hours: Monday-Friday 7:30am-4pm
Education/Experience Required: High school or equivalent

Job Description:

As a Building Engineer, you will be responsible for monitoring, maintaining and repairing building system operations and the performance of various areas including plumbing, electrical, painting, roofing, heating, and cooling.
This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.

• Primarily a manufacturing facility
• Facility is made up 3 separate buildings and the candidate will have to go to the other buildings on occasion. Candidate will need their own vehicle.
• Some independent work, some work with a team

Responsibilities :

• Changing filter
• Changing belts on equipment
• PM's
• Filling work orders
• General maintenance
• Moving/putting together furniture
• Patching/painting

Licenses/Certifications:

• Universal CFC certification preferred

Must Have Skills:

• Commercial HVAC experience
• High pressure Boiler experience
• Pumps and motors
• Basic electric experience
• Candidate must be detail oriented in order to fill out paperwork accurately
• 3-5 years experience
• HS diploma or GED

Nice to have skills:

• Familiar with BAS
• Familiar with fire extinguisher maintenance
• Basic plumbing skills

Soft skills:

• Good customer service skills

Software skills:

• Microsoft Office suite
• Email
• CMMS experience
