Weâre seeking an Advanced Electrical Engineer to take ownership of our next-generation High Voltage (HV) System. This is a hands-on role where youâll design, build, and lead the development of advanced electrical distribution systems for our fuel-agnostic linear generator technology. Here's what you'll be doing:
Weâre seeking an Advanced Electrical Engineer to take ownership of our next-generation High Voltage (HV) System. This is a hands-on role where youâll design, build, and lead the development of advanced electrical distribution systems for our fuel-agnostic linear generator technology. If you thrive in fast-paced, cutting-edge environments and want to shape the future of clean energy, this role is for you.
Here's what you'll be doing:
- Owning and leading the design of HV electrical systems, including schematics, wiring harnesses, power electronics, and control modules.
- Developing and testing prototypes in a lab environmentâbringing concepts into working reality.
- Driving analysis, simulation, and validation of HV circuits using industry-standard tools (MATLAB-Simulink, PSPICE, LTSPICE).
- Collaborating across engineering disciplines to ensure electrical, thermal, and safety requirements are met.
- Partnering with suppliers for key components, ensuring compliance, manufacturability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Contributing to safety-critical documentation (FMEAs, DVP&Rs) and supporting certification efforts.
- Bachelorâs in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of experience in a regulated design environment.
- Proven expertise in high-voltage DC power distribution, batteries, motors, inverters, and PDUs.
- Hands-on experience debugging and building HV prototypes.
- Skilled in electrical modeling, simulation, and system design.
- Familiarity with standards such as ISO 26262, UL, or MIL specifications.
- Collaborative problem-solver with the ability to jump in quickly, learn fast, and deliver results.
- Bonus: Experience in EV systems architecture, BESS, or generator systems.
